Lisa Sweeney - (Certified)
Hello, my name is Lisa Sweeney. I have lived in Arizona for 33 years and the city of Chandler for almost 20 years. I have a wonderful 15 year old daughter named Caitlin who is a Freshman in High School. I received an AA degree from Gateway Community College. I have also completed 16 credit hours in Early Childhood Education at Mesa Community College and 128 continuing education hours in Early Childhood Development, Curriculum Development, and Phonics Strategies for Early Readers. I have 11 years of experience as a Preschool Teacher and Assistant Director and 1 year of experience as a Kindergarten Paraeducator in the Chandler Unified School District. God has given me a love of children and teaching. I feel very blessed to be a part of Chandler United Methodist Church and our wonderful teaching staff at Wee Blessings.

Debi Larkin - (Certified & Credentialed)
Hello, my name is Debi Larkin. I am from Orange County, California and have lived in Arizona for about seven years now. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies from Cal State Long Beach, my Teaching Credential from Cal State Fullerton & UCLA and my Master’s in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from National University. I have been teaching collectively for about nine years (grades preschool, k, 1, 2, 3 & 4). I have always had a passion for teaching. There is nothing more gratifying than inspiring children to be the best they can be…self confident with a positive attitude!
Phil and I have three amazing children Madison (9), Mattie (8), Jackson (4) and our Bassett hound Jack (9). My children have by far taught me more than I could ever teach them. They are truly blessings from God. I am very excited to be working with a team of teachers who put their heart and soul into teaching children to truly make a difference!
Maria Smith - (Certified & Credentialed)
I am happy and excited to join the team of Wee Blessings Preschool and Academy. Let me first tell you a bit about myself. I was raised in Hawaii, but have lived in Arizona for over 20 years. Although I miss the ocean and the rain, I do love living here with my husband George and my two wonderful children, Riley (14) and Jenna (10). After attaining my Bachelor’s from Arizona State University and working in marketing for a few years, I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my family. It was then that I realized how incredibly rewarding teaching children could be. I decided to go back to school and received my credentials from Arizona State East (Polytechnic Campus). I taught third grade and have substituted in the Chandler district for two years. Most recently, I have embarked on my own venture, with my very talented business partner, called Smart Move Tutoring. Although I love working with children of all ages, I have a special place in my heart for the little ones. I am pleased to now be a part of your children’s lives. I believe wholeheartedly in an open-door policy, so feel free to talk to me about any issue regarding your child. Here’s to a great semester at Wee Blessings!

Michelle Clonts - (Certified & Credentialed)
I am so excited to be joining the Wee Blessings team. I am a native of Arizona and grew up in Scottsdale. My husband Chris and I have lived in Chandler for the past nine years and we have two daughters, Amanda (7) and Sophia (4). I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Arizona State University and my Post Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University. I taught in the Kyrene School District for four years where I taught K/1/2 multiage classes. I took a break from teaching after my second child was born and now that they are both in school I am excited to begin working with children again. It is important for a child to feel secure and loved every time they come to school and my teaching style will ensure that each child receives the support and attention to make this possible.
Karin Eldred - (Certified)
Hello! My name is Karin Eldred and I am thrilled to be a part of the Wee Blessings family. My husband and I, along with our three children, moved to Chandler 3 years ago from Paramount, California. I attended Long Beach City College where I received my Early Childhood Development certification and taught in Christian Preschools for over 13 years. I took a year off when we first moved here to help my family adjust to their new life in Arizona. I then secured a position at The Grove Bible Church as their Children’s Ministry Director. Although I thoroughly enjoyed working in ministry, my passion was for teaching. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with the staff at Wee Blessings and I look forward to helping your child develop socially, cognitively and spiritually. For some of you, this will be your child’s first school experience. Thanks for entrusting Wee Blessings and myself with your child’s development.

Susan Rombough - (Certified)
My name is Susan Rombough. I was born in Hawaii, but raised in Arizona. I attended Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. I have over 20 years teaching experience within Sunday School, Bible School and camps. The last few years, I have enjoyed being a part of MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) and MOMS Club of Chandler where I served on several committees and made many friends. My husband Scott and I have two children, Jill (9) and Justin (7) and we live in Chandler. I am so excited for the start of the new year with Wee Blessings Preschool & Academy.

Melissa Branting - (Certified)
Hello my name is Melissa Branting and I recently started working at Wee Blessings! I have been married for almost 15 years and have 2 daughters ages 6 & 8. I grew up in a small town in Nebraska where I graduated from the Univ. of Nebraska with my BS Degree in Business and minored in Economics. A Blessing from God as I was able to stay at home and raise my baby girl. 2 ½ years later we had our second child. Over the last 2 years, I worked at a couple of Churches helping out with the MOPS childcare and really enjoyed bringing a smile to a child’s face – the reward is priceless. I have also volunteered in Sunday School classes, was a part of MOPS on the Steering Team as well as a table leader. I have my credentials to substitute teach in public school but just have not taken the leap yet. With just 2 weeks here at Wee Blessings, I am truly amazed at the curriculum for these children, the worship time and prayers – what a wonderful start these kids are getting to prepare for Kindergarten and life. They will truly be ahead of the game. I look forward to watching each of them grow and learn and being a part of it all
